Why squeezing stopped working years ago
Pressing a blackhead with your fingers does two things: it pushes about half of the blockage further in, and it inflames the skin around it. That's why the same pores refill within a week and why the marks last longer than the blackhead did.
Suction pulls in the opposite direction. Open the pore first with warmth, then draw the contents out rather than forcing them down. The technique matters more than the device — which is why the instructions below are worth reading before the first use.
How to use it without bruising yourself
- Steam or press a hot towel over your face for 3–5 minutes. This is not optional — cold pores don't release, they just bruise.
- Start on level 1, even if you have oily skin. You can always go up.
- Glide the probe in a slow straight line. Never hold it in one spot — that's what causes the round purple marks people complain about.
- Two passes per area, maximum. Then move on.
- Finish with a toner or a light moisturiser, and clean the probe before you put it away.

Questions people ask before they buy
Will it leave marks on my face?
Only if you hold it still or start too high. The bruising people post online is almost always from parking the probe on one spot. Keep it moving, start on level 1, two passes maximum per area.
How often can I use it?
Once or twice a week is plenty. Skin needs time in between, and daily use tends to leave it irritated rather than clear.
Does it work on deep blackheads?
It draws out softened surface congestion. Anything that has hardened deep in the pore usually needs to be softened first — steam properly beforehand, and use a salicylic acid product between sessions. It won't extract cystic spots, and you shouldn't try.
Can I use it on active breakouts?
No. Go around inflamed or broken spots. Suction on an active pimple spreads bacteria and makes the mark last longer.
How do I clean the probes?
Wipe them with alcohol after every session and let them dry fully before storing. The handset itself isn't waterproof, so don't run it under a tap.
How long does a charge last?
A full charge covers several sessions. The display shows remaining battery, so you'll see it coming rather than having it die mid-face.
